The connections on the PLX-1000 are gold-plated RCA jacks which ensure a true representation of your vinyl is heard, all of which when combined with interchangeable and replaceable cabling helps your deck last longer and means you can keep on playingĪll products shown online are BRAND NEW and sealed (unless otherwise specified) and include full manufacturer warranties. The PLX-1000 is equipped to handle any tempo, with the ability to be set at ☘%, ☑6% and ±50% whilst a simple button on the deck can set you back to 0 in a flash, making mixing a simple but easy experience. Other dampening features include rubber insulated tone arm which reduces the howling on audio as well as further shock absorption on the dampener ensures a true response. The turntables heavy mass, die-cast zinc chassis makes sure that resonance and vibrations are kept to an absoloute minimum, but Pioneer have gone further and reinforced the lower bottom section with 8mm resin and a 9mm thick base mean it will not let you down. The turntable includes a replaceable head-shell which can be replaced with Pioneer's own or a choice of your own, we personally recommend these by Ortofon, which are setting the standard in audio quality. This torque speed alone ensures a tight and responsive feel no matter how you use the turntable. The PLX-1000 features a direct drive motor that can get you up to speed (at 33 1/3) in just 0.3 seconds, which is due in part to the starting torque of the turntable being around 4.5kg/cm. The Pioneer PLX-1000 sits at the top of the tree of turntables from Pioneer, crammed full with technology that set it apart from the others, whilst keeping a nod to the traditionalist turntablists who want the same performance from their equipment every-time.
